But with a BANG!! WOW!! & WHOA!!

Honestly & gratefully, God have answered our prayers!
De finalz was really hip, happenin', fun & enthrallin'!!
With de audiences really engagin' with de MiQ Quiz '05 Finalz on stage!!
With encourangin' attendance of enthusiastic knowledge seekin' crowd dat filled up de whole auditorium!!
With de ever-funny & happy-go-lucky Quiz Masters!!
With de new theme; Alam Melayu!!
& with de matured & professional MiQ Club runnin' de show!!

Yes it was!! Very X3 wonderful indeed!! Haha!!

If u were der, yes u... u'll see a very interestin' & excitin' competition between Temasek Polytechnic, Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah, Raffles JC & Anderson JC. It was a very close fight indeed, with Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah leading de first few rounds.. However, near 2 de end of de quiz, Anderson JC managed catched up & won!! WeeHoo!! Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah got de 1st Runner Up. While Raffles JC became de 2nd Runner Up & Temasek Polytechnic got de 4th place.

Congrats 2 all of em!!!

Yesterday was a long day..a long day with a memorable night..

Began with a meeting, noon @ Long John Silver.. Guys hang out after dat @ De Town.. Then, it was 'De Great Office Clean Up'..

All of dat, ate up my time till 7.45pm in de evening...

De evening dat i've been waitin' 4 de last 2 weeks.. De evening spent @ Seri Kampung Restaurant.. De evening 2 celebrate a special event..

A special event called.. "Mother's Day"

Meet my family members @ 8pm, all 10 of dem.. My parents, my grandparents, my bro, my uncle & his family.. They were all excited 2 be there.. 2 some it was their 1st time.. includin me.. 2 all of them, it was de 1st time i treated dem.. & 2 de mums, it was their 1st time havin' Mother's Day der..

Y? Y did i choose 2 bring dem der? mmm... partly bcoz of de food.. next, due 2 de ambience.. & last bcoz of a suprise plan.. JengX3...

De surprise plan was.. Go up 2 de stage, pick up de mic & dedeicate de song, 'Ibu' 2 de mums espeacially my mum & my grandma.. But, huhu.. sadness.. sadness.. der's no such songs.. so all i do was, went up 2 de stage 2 entertain others by singin'..

1st, it was my bro who went up & sang a very.. sad.. mellow but nice song.. 'Meraung'.. He sang quite well though bcoz it was his 2nd time der on de very same stage, singing de very same song.. Hehe..

Den, it was me.. w/o any of my songs, i juz choose randomly a song 2 sing.. I choosed 'Jika Kau Tiada', a song dat have 2 be sang by 2 people.. a duet.. However, i was alone & sang dat song horriblely.. haha..

Fortunately, i was given a 2nd chance.. & i think, i did a fairly good job, better than de 1st time.. I sang 'How deep is ya love' by Beegees.. I guessed i was juz lucky coz dat song was one of my old time favourite..

@ dat moment, it seems dat me & my bro were trend setters.. After we initiate de singin', others began 2 sing 2.. Very interestin' aite...? hehe.. It began 2 looked like a 'Dine & be entertain' nite..

So, while some mouths continue 2 munch.. some were singin'.. my family & i were busily finishin'..

Then, as stomachs r full, a photo of de whole family were taken 4 memories on de stage, bills were kindly paid & it's time 4 us 2 leave..

But.. JengX3.. JengX3.. one of us wasn't allowed 2 leave.. Guess who??
Me.. Guess Y??
Coz some1 juz invited me back on stage.. Y?
2 do a duet with some1.. some1 whom i don't even know.. wat song?
a song dat i'm not familiar with.. 'Kau mawarku'..

It was juz so shockin'! surprisin'! Y dis happen 2 me? I'm clueless about dis.. Even my duet partner was kinda blur.. Although i didn't ask her but her face showed dat she was.. I think it was a set up.. a set up by her family members..

Thus, i juz do my part by singing averagely.. & she did her's in a very good way.. until de whole song ends.. with people clappin'.. Feels like de 'performance' dat others have been waitin' 4.. Haha...

After dat, then, it's time 4 me 2 leave.. leavin' behind memories.. & an expression..

One week ago... 8 schools... with 24 students... 24 brains... &... 24 pairs of excited hands... competed against each other juz 4 one cause & purpose.. 2 qualify 4 de Final!!

Hearts were beatin' abnormally fast, hands were shiverin' like it was freezin' outside, mouths were blurtin' right & wrong answers & brain juices were squeezed out..

After all of dat...

Dey Qualified!!

Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah & Anderson Junior College from de 1st Semis & Raffles Junior College & Temasek Polytechnic!!

Congrats 2 all of dem!! All de best!!

2 Wan & Qaya, Well Done! Both of ya hv done a great job as de Floor Managers 4 de Semis although both were 1st timer!! Keep it up!!

2 all of my MiQians, let us continue 2 strive & make our MiQ Finals a best of de best!! Reflect upon de past, learn from mistakes & move on with faith!!
