31st May 2006..
Not only it's the World's No Tobacco Day.. (No Smoking Smokers.. Hehe..)
It also marks the Acap very own Singapore Nature Walk..
Hehe.. Actually it was just a recce for Fellowship Y Junction's training event..
Explorers: Bro Ashraf & Bro Hanan
Route: Bukit Timah Hill Foot-Bukit Timah Hill Summit-MacRitchie Reservoir Entrance
Distance Travelled: 20km+
Sight Seeing: 6 Squirrels: 6 Monitor Lizards: Lots of Monkeys =p
Whether we finished the exploration or not, it's not the point..
The point is.. whether there were any take-aways for the long walk..
Life is a journey..It will end from where it began..
>Just like our recce, no matter how far we walk, how long we take, we'll arrive at the end.
Shortcuts, here & there, neither making life's easier nor tougher, but just add a little bit of colour..
>On our way up the hill, there are shortcuts to get to the top, but everyone of them have their own set of challenges; more steps, steeper slopes or more rocks on the ground, painting many different colourful pictures to the top.
In Life there's no turning back..
>During our journey across the HSBC Tree Top Walk at MacRitchie, we came across signs saying, "No Turning Back". Similar to our lives, what's done can't be undone. We just have to make full use of the situation, on how we can improve it & create a better outcome for it. And if it's a mistake, we have to learn from it, so we won't repeat it, anticipate it next time & know what to do if it happens again.
~Once again, swinging off..
